The Fraternal and Pastoral Visits to the OFS of Norway began on Thursday, September 27, 2012, with a meeting at St. Magnus parish and lunch offered by the Lillestørm fraternity to Tibor Kauser, delegate of the OFS General Minister, Encarnacion del Pozo. The program continued after the arrival of Fr. Amando Trujillo Cano TOR, General Spiritual Assistant, representing the Conference of General Spiritual Assistants, with a visit to the bishop of Oslo, Bernt Ivar Eidsvig, C.R.S.A. The next day both visitators held several meetings at St. Hallvard Parish with Spiritual Assistants, some members of the Lillestrøm fraternity, the National Coordination Council, members of the Tønsberg fraternity, and finally, with members of the Oslo fraternity.

These meetings provided the visitors with valuable information on the way the fraternities are functioning, their challenges and vision for the future. The activities continued with the participation at the parish evening Eucharist and concluded with dinner in the parish hall. On September 29 there was a general assembly attended by most of the members of the active fraternities in Norway. The meeting was held at St. Rose of Lima’s House of the Dominican sisters and began with Morning Prayer followed by a presentation on the history of the Catholic Church and the OFS in Norway. This was followed by presentations by both Tibor and Fr. Amando to the participants followed by a question and answer session. There was time for personal dialogue with the visitators after lunch followed by the Eucharistic celebration presided by Fr. Amando. The activities concluded with a fraternal dinner.
